Enterprise Center: Funded in part with a grant
received from OCS, the BEC is a new micro-business incubator designed
to provide affordable office space and support services for approximately
30 start up and fledgling businesses in the community. Located in 6109
South Western Avenue (adjacent to the Western Slauson Business Center),
the facility provides shared clerical support, a computer lab, access
to office equipment, and meeting/conference space. Programs and support
services offered under the Business Enterprise Center include:

Technical Assistance: VSEDC offers aspiring entrepreneurs and small
business owners free assistance from consultants who have expertise
in a particular area such as marketing and financing. more Entrepreneurial Training Program: VSEDC provides two levels of
entrepreneurial training for new and existing business owners. Participants
are provided the tools and training to create a business plan. Specifically,
they receive training in the areas of marketing, administration, management,
financial projections, pricing, research on industry trends and competition,
identification of target markets and development of customer profiles.more Vermont Slauson Revolving Loan Program: Assistance is given to
local businesses interested in receiving loans, both from our organization
and others. more Business Development Institute: Through the Business Development
Institute, VSEDC offers individuals computer training, and business
courses such as marketing and financial management.more Monthly Seminars: VSEDC conducts a free seminar every month covering
